Barre. Pilates. Tower. Anything that makes me feel longer and stronger…and let’s me dance like no one is watching!

What Gets Me Out Of Bed
The 20 minutes I take for myself before my toddlers get up. I need a few minutes to centre myself, maybe stretch, meditate, take a look at the day ahead before the chaos begins to unfold…. who am I kidding it’s just to drink coffee in silence!

My Fitness Journey
I feel like I have wandered a bit here. I played on both the National Rugby and Football teams in my late teens/early 20’s, which was complemented by a serious weightlifting mentality. After some injuries, my partner encouraged me to try Yoga and I was amazed at the work taking place both inside and out. It wasn’t until I stumbled into a barre class with Erika F that this new chapter started. I have a degree in Human Kinesiology, and Physical Education, and Barre TT & Tower TT from RIO. Failing that I’m always looking for new parks, paths and trails to enjoy being outside.
